A subway surfer plunged to his death just after 9 p.m. Saturday night while riding outside a Manhattan-bound train near the Queensboro Plaza station, authorities said.

“He was either climbing up or down between cars” before falling, an MTA employee at the scene told The Post.

The victim’s name was not immediately released.

NYC Transit issued a statement via Twitter later in the evening, saying “We’re sorry to report that the person killed at Queensboro Plaza had been surfing on top of the train. 7 and N trains continue to bypass Queensboro in both directions while NYPD continues their investigation.”
