Subway tragedy
A straphanger was killed yesterday as he tried to walk between two subway cars and fell into the gap, police said.
The unidentified victim was on an eastbound No. 2 train leaving the Nevins Street station in Downtown Brooklyn at 6:10 p.m. when he suddenly slipped, a transit spokesman said.
