A man jumped to his death from a Manhattan hotel yesterday, crushing an area resident’s beloved Audi just as he was about to take it for a shopping trip upstate.

“I didn’t really believe it at first,” said Frank Hauben, 30, who bought the $36,000 2004 A4 while stationed in Germany for the US Army. “What are the odds of this happening?”

The unidentified victim, 42, from Naples, Fla., leaped from the seventh floor of the Skyline Hotel on 10th Avenue and 49th Street and died at Roosevelt Hospital.

Hauben said he had just bought the spot in an outdoor lot to keep his car protected.
