A Wisconsin pediatrician visiting New York City last year filed a $3 million suit yesterday over a mishap on the Hudson River bike path.

Dr. Robert Kliegman’s Manhattan federal court filing says he was pedaling south near Pier 54 when he wiped out on a hose that was stretched across the pavement to clean up after the New York City Wine & Food Festival.

Defendant Cleanevent USA’s corporate parent, Australia-based Spotless, declined to comment.

And defendants Karlitz & Co. and Winick Productions didn’t respond to requests for comment.
