Suit a Bible ‘lesson’
A former New Jersey substitute teacher says he was fired because he gave his Bible to a student.
In a discrimination complaint lodged Wednesday with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Newark, Walt Tutka claims the Phillipsburg School District let him go in January because he gave the Bible in October to a student who asked about a passage.
The district did not immediately return a call for comment.
