A 40-pound dog named Matilda was mauled to near death at an upstate kennel by a Labrador, according to a $2 million Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.

Owner Melissa Cusick, 42, boarded Matilda at Glencadia Dog Camp in Columbia County while she was in Los Angeles at the Grammy Awards.

“On Feb. 11, 2013, she found her beloved dog mauled, torn to pieces and barely clinging to life,” the suit states.
