The mom of the ex-mistress who allegedly stalked Yankee General Manager Brian Cashman has abruptly dropped a civil suit against him.

Caroline Meanwell quietly filed a voluntary discontinuance order in court on Tuesday. She had claimed in papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court in January that Cashman conspired with her daughter Louise’s ex-shrink and his own legal team to trick the mom into calling 911 to discredit her daughter.

The suit, which called the defendants “three stooges,” claimed Caroline was coerced into telling authorities her daughter was going to kill herself so Louise would be institutionalized.

In the papers, Meanwell said Cashman boasted, “The Yankees control the universe and he controls the Yankees.”

A source confirmed that there was no settlement in the case.
