It took just four minutes for a flock of geese to slash the value of a $70 million jet to $100,000.
That’s roughly what an aircraft-salvage expert plans to bid when the jet that Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger ditched in the Hudson a year ago goes up for auction.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that this airplane will hit close to $100,000,” said Doug Scroggins of Aircraft Recycling Corp.
