Today is the first day of summer — but fear not! That “oppressive” heat the 2014 Farmer’s Almanac predicted may not be that bad.
Overall, summer weather in the Northeast will be “pretty uneventful,” with temperatures and humidity just slightly above the norm, predicts AccuWeather meteorologist Dave Bowers.
The Farmer’s Almanac claimed New York would be hit with an exceptionally miserable summer after the frigid winter.
