Cops busted the crazed man who assaulted an NYPD traffic agent in Queens, authorities said Monday.
Jhon Correa-Quintero, 27, was arrested Sunday afternoon in connection with the May 31 attack on the 46-year-old agent.
The officer was walking along Roosevelt Avenue in Elmhurst when Correa-Quintero allegedly grabbed him by the back of the neck and forced him to walk several feet before sweeping his legs, causing the agent to fall to the ground, cops said.
The attacker then repeatedly kicked and punched the victim, who was treated at Queens Hospital Center.
Correa-Quintero, who lives in Corona, was charged with assault, menacing and harassment. He is expected to be arraigned in Queens court on Monday.
