Police arrested a suspect wanted in the attempted rape of a Queens woman that was halted by a Marine vet, authorities said today.

Cops located Kenneth King, 41, after the 109th Precinct received an anonymous tip for a chilling sex attack on Wednesday on 148th Street.

A 33-year-old woman told cops that she was grabbed from behind and forced into the brush around 8:50 a.m. near the Cross Island Parkway by a sicko who threw her to the ground, and attempted to sexually assault her.

The woman’ screams alerted veteran Brian Teichman, 31, who began yelling at the pervert, and caused him to run off.

Teichman said, “I’m very glad they caught someone who they think did that… and we’ll see when the guy is locked up and convicted.”

King was charged with one count of attempted rape, and one counted of attempted sex abuse.
