A man who randomly shoved a straphanger onto the subway tracks of a Bronx station was arrested Tuesday and hit with an attempted murder charge, according to police.

Miguel Ramirez, 35, was also charged with attempted assault and reckless endangerment in the terrifying incident where a 26-year-old male victim was pushed onto the tracks while waiting for a northbound No. 6 train at the East 149th Street Station, cops said.  

Witnesses were quick to help the man up before the train made any contact with the victim, cops said.

Ramirez, of the Bronx, was taken into custody at around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Footage released by the NYPD prior to Ramirez’s arrest first shows the suspect walking up behind the victim and lurching toward him before backing off.

In a second attempt, the suspect can be seen charging at the victim and shoving him off the platform, cops said.

The victim suffered minor injuries to his legs, the NYPD said.
