A man was attacked in an East Harlem subway station early Friday, cops said.

The victim was either stabbed or slashed in the 6 train station at 116th Street and Lexington Avenue around 1:15 a.m., authorities said.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

It was unclear whether the attack happened on a train or elsewhere in the station. Police also did not immediately know what provoked the assault.

The suspect remains at large.
