A 21-year-old man is being sought in connection with the shooting death of a Bronx club bouncer, police said yesterday.

Investigators have identified Victor Mendez, 21, as someone that they would like to question in the case.

Witnesses said Terrance Drayton, a 26-year-old father of two, appeared to take a bullet intended for a fellow bouncer who had broken up a fight earlier in The Pit Lounge, a notorious club in a White Plains Road building owned by retired police Detective Elliot Parisi.

Drayton was dead on arrival at Jacobi Hospital.

Parisi, who left the NYPD 11 years ago, described the bar as “the antithesis of a cop hangout” and declared, “The days for this club are over.”
