The NYPD Bomb Squad investigated a report of a suspicious package in Chelsea Sunday – before determining it was merely discarded computer equipment, authorities said.

A large police response turned up at West 23rd Street and 10th Avenue around 2:15 p.m. and was just blocks away from where a pressure cooker bomb exploded Sept. 17 and injured 29 people.

After roughly 30 minutes of police working to keep a large crowd of people at bay, the Bomb Squad determined the package to be harmless.

The suspicious package was merely discarded Verizon computer parts.
