SUV-crash mayhem
Five people were hospitalized yesterday after an out-of-control SUV jumped a curb in Brooklyn, authorities said.
A GMC Yukon traveling westbound on 15th Street in Park Slope at 4 p.m. sideswiped a car, took out a bus stop and barreled through the Eighth Avenue intersection, striking four people on the corner, according to witnesses.
“It looked bad,” said Shadi Sarsor, 32, who owns Royal Supermarket across the street from the crash.
The driver and four injured pedestrians were taken to Methodist and Lutheran hospitals with minor injuries. Police said there was no criminality.
