An SUV driver hit and killed an elderly woman while backing into his driveway in Sheepshead Bay on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The 48-year-old driver slammed into 85-year-old Stella Clinton with his Toyota Highlander as she was walking on the sidewalk on Avenue S near Brown Street at about 4:20 p.m., cops said.

Clinton was rushed to Kings County Hospital and pronounced dead, police said.

The driver remained at the scene of the crash. No arrests were made on Wednesday evening, authorities said.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
