A sinner wearing a yarmulke looted the donation box at a Brooklyn synagogue last month, police said.

The thief entered the Yetev Lev D’Satmar on Hooper Street near Kent Avenue about 2 a.m. June 21, officials said

Cops say he snatched $400 from the charity box and then fled.

He later returned to the scene of the crime around 11:45 a.m. July 3rd, when he is seen on video released Thursday by police walking inside the house of worship. He grabs an umbrella but otherwise leaves empty handed.

The crook was last seen wearing a black suit, white shirt, white sneakers and a yarmulke.
