A fire raged through the roof of a Brooklyn synagogue Thursday morning during the holy week of Passover, officials said.
The blaze started just after midnight Thursday inside the Congregation Kneses Israel of Sea-Gate synagogue, according to fire officials.
A Torah scroll and other religious artifacts were safely removed from the location.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters were battling the blaze early Thursday.
The Passover holiday started Monday evening and ends on April 18.
