Here’s a tip for lawbreakers — if you don’t want to get caught, don’t invite the news media to cover your crimes.

Two dimwitted Occupy Wall Street “demonstrators” found that out the hard way, after they invited a film crew from NY 1 to record them defacing subway cars, and cops used the footage to track them down.

Jeffrey Brewer, 34, and Aaron Minter, 40, allegedly plastered subway seats with stickers that marked them as “priority seating for the 1 percent.”

After cops saw the NY1 video, they found the duo hanging out among other protesters at Union Square Park at around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, a day after their stunt, cops said.

Both men were charged with criminal mischief, a felony, and making graffiti and possession of graffiti instruments, both misdemeanors.

The men had given their names on TV, although Minter reportedly used the alias “Black” for his last name, but cops identified him with the video.

They may have also recognized him because of his record for previous arrests, including one for burglary the day after 9/11, at a closed store two blocks from Ground Zero.
