Quentin Tarantino’s estranged father, Tony, is set to release two movies about law enforcement next year — with one focusing on the NYPD, his publicist announced Sunday.
Tony TarantinoGetty ImagesThe revelation comes less than a week after the older Tarantino called his son “dead wrong” for labeling cops murderers at an Oct. 24 anti-cop rally at Washington Square Park.
“Tony in no way supports the actions or the opinion of his son Quentin against the NYPD and LE in general and in actual fact has himself two movies due for release next year which both focus on Law Enforcement in the USA,” the statement said.
“One in particular is based on NYPD and will be including the work of his cousin who was a Mounted Police officer for many years in the NYPD.”
