Tax-break push by GOP
ALBANY — State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos plans another push for a GOP small-business tax-relief plan that he says would save companies $185 million a year.
Senate Republicans unsuccessfully tried to include the plan in the $132.6 billion state budget for the fiscal year that began this month.
It includes a 20 percent tax cut for small businesses and tax credits of as much as $10,000 for each newly created job.
