Left in shambles under the Manhattan Bridge…

A cab driver was left in critical condition Tuesday following a wild ride that left his car jammed under a Manhattan Bridge arch.

Witnesses told police that the taxi was traveling past the corner of Pearl Street and York Avenue just after 1 p.m. on October 13 when it struck another vehicle.

The force of the impact sent the cab spinning out of control, but, as luck would have it, the damaged vehicle slammed into a berth that was just wide enough for it.

Paramedics rushed the cab driver to Lutheran Medical Center.
