Firefighters battled a yellow cab fire inside the Battery Tunnel on Wednesday, authorities said.

The FDNY responded shortly before 12:15 p.m. to the blaze in the Brooklyn-bound side of the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel, a spokesman said.

Video posted by Twitter user @ra_at shows flames spewing out of the front of the taxi as it’s stopped in the left lane.

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the fire, which was extinguished less than an hour after it started, the spokesman added. No one was injured.

Hours earlier, the Brooklyn Bridge was temporarily closed when three cars burst into flames following a four-car crash on the Brooklyn-bound side. One person died and six others were injured in that fiery wreck.
