Cab-medallion owners still aren’t giving up their dream of squashing the Taxi of Tomorrow, the passenger-friendly cab Mike Bloomberg tried to make the city’s only approved taxi.

Cab kingpin Gene Freidman, who owns more than 1,000 medallions, and his trade group will launch an appeal Wednesday of an appellate judge’s decision last month to green-light the Taxi of Tomorrow.

The June 10 ruling said the city did not overstep its power in requiring a uniform fleet of cabs.
