Pretty soon you’ll be asked to pay more than the fare in yellow cabs.

Thousands of annoying taxi TVs will soon air public-service announcements asking riders to donate to theater education — part of a nationwide appeal to increase funding for youth arts programs.

Creative Mobile Technologies, which operates the TVs in 6,600 taxis, will launch the first-of-its kind campaign next month in cabs in New York and 18 other cities.

The spots will feature some still-unannounced celebs asking the captive audience to dig deep for the National Corporate Theatre Fund, which bankrolls theater-education programs for kids across the country — including the Manhattan Theatre Club in New York.

The short PSAs will be aired amid the familiar programming loop of news, weather and advertisements.
