A former Queens middle-school teacher who was fired for sexually harassing a student and making penis jokes in class is trying to get his old job back — plus back pay for time off.
MS 210 English teacher Brett Leichtman, 47, was terminated earlier this month for telling an eighth-grader that he loved her and wanted to marry her, and repeatedly touching her hair bun, according to court documents.
He also walked around class showing students a rubber band in the shape of a penis.
The Long Islander filed court papers on Thursday petitioning the city for his job back, arguing that his actions were just an “ill-conceived crude joke.”
But the girl’s dad says he wouldn’t want Leichtman teaching his daughter again.
“I wouldn’t be comfortable,” said the dad.
Leichtman declined to comment to The Post.
