A math teacher at a Long Island junior high school has been arrested on charges of possessing child pornography and sharing it over the Internet.

Suffolk police say Christopher Teague, 34, of Coram, was busted yesterday on charges of possessing a sexual performance by a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child.

Teague teaches at Longwood JHS in Middle Island.

Internet-service providers tipped off State Police, who contacted detectives from the Computer Crimes Unit.

Teague is scheduled to be arraigned today.
