Inspired by massive community support, the New Jersey teacher who was forced to meekly quit because he played John Oliver’s viral “Make Donald Drumpf Again” clip in class has decided to fight back.

The Post reported Thursday that Joe Ventre agreed to quietly resign at the end of the year after a parent complained about the screening.

But after thousands of supporters signed a petition to keep him on staff, Ventre rescinded his resignation Friday.

Under community pressure, district brass can opt to retain the nontenured teacher for next year, but they gave no indication of his future Friday.

Middletown Superintendent William George told The Post he would not comment because “information regarding personnel status ‎and performance is legally protected.”

The complainant, Middletown Township clerk Heidi Brunt, declined to comment Friday when reached by The Post.
