A Bronx teacher’s aide accused of molesting her 14-year-old student claims the boy is a troublemaker who lied about the whole affair.

Maria Contreras, 29, was arraigned on charges of rape and endangering the welfare of a child Sunday in Bronx Criminal Court, where her lawyer said her young accuser has “serious behavioral issues” and “has repeatedly been suspended from school.”

“There is only his word,” the lawyer, Ruth Hamilton, said during the arraignment. “There is no evidence. No e-mails, no texts, no Facebook posts, no messages.”

More than 40 of Contreras’ relatives and friends were in court to lend their support to the married mother of two children.

“This is her worst nightmare,” her lawyer said.

“She would never touch a child. That’s not the kind of person she is.”

Contreras was held in lieu of $25,000 bond or $10,000 cash.
