The Giants and Jets are suing to block a New Jersey project that developers say would be the largest mall in the United States.

Officials from the teams say the proposed “American Dream” megamall at the Meadowlands violates a prior agreement that the clubs must approve any expansion plans at the East Rutherford project site.

A spokesman for Triple Five, the mall’s developers, called the lawsuit “frivolous.”
