PROVIDENCE, RI — Former Rhode Island Rep. Patrick Kennedy yesterday announced that he’ll be married Friday in a private wedding ceremony at his family’s Cape Cod compound.

Kennedy, 43, son of the late Massachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy, will wed New Jersey teacher Amy Petitgout. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer will officiate.

Kennedy is now a visiting fellow at Brown University.
