A 16-year-old boy has been arrested for punching and mocking a 9-year-old child in a heinous attack at a Brooklyn housing project.
Footage of the incident went viral, helping cops bust the violent teen around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, police sources said.
Cops declined to name the 16-year-old, who a source said “is known to the [77th] precinct as a kid who is frequently in trouble. It wasn’t difficult to identify him and he was picked up and charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child.”
The disturbing video, which has since been deleted, shows the young victim huddling in a vestibule of the Albany Houses as the cold-hearted teen slams the child’s head into the wall and screams “Give me candy!”
The 9-year-old survived the attack, and reported the incident with his mother to cops.
