A 13-year-old boy was critically injured when a van hit him as he ran out into the middle of a Bronx street Friday evening, police said.

The teen dashed out into the street, between oncoming cars at Fox Street and Westchester Avenue in Longwood, about 6 p.m. when a Honda van struck him.

He was taken Lincoln Hospital in critical condition.

The driver remained on the scene.
