A 17-year-old boy was shot dead just steps from his Bronx home over the weekend, authorities said.

Xavier Wilson was struck twice in the torso when gunfire erupted on Union Avenue near East 165th Street in Morrisania late Saturday, minutes before midnight, cops said.

Wilson, who lived in NYCHA’s Forest Houses, was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made, and the circumstances of the shooting are unclear.

Wilson’s death comes after a string of gun violence — described by insiders as “a major gang war” — erupted in the borough, during which three teens were killed.
