A teen girl escaped from NYPD custody while she was at a Brooklyn hospital Monday afternoon — and is still on the run, cops said.

The unidentified girl, 16, was being held by police for a grand larceny charge when she broke free from Maimonides Medical Center in Borough Park around 1:15 p.m., police said.

It’s unclear if she was handcuffed or when she was busted for the alleged theft. It was also unclear why she was at the hospital.

Authorities were still looking for the teen as of Monday evening. 

There was no description of the teen prisoner immediately provided by police.
