Two 13-year-old girls attacked an off-duty NYPD sergeant on her way to work in Prospect Heights on Tuesday morning, police sources said.

The teens were among a group of 10 girls who approached the officer at 4 a.m. outside 395 Flatbush Ave. in Brooklyn, according to the sources.

One of the girls hit the officer on the head, and she fell to the ground. The cop struggled to hold on to her bag, drew her weapon and identified herself, the sources said. The two girls were later arrested.
