A 15-year-old boy was stabbed with a kitchen knife yesterday after a large group of teens cornered him during a playground scuffle in Brooklyn.

The boy, who has not been identified, was with a group of friends at a Bushwick basketball court when a larger goup — about 10 to 20 teens — showed up.

The groups started arguing and the encounter quickly turned violent.

The boy was stabbed in the chest and he also had a laceration to his head, police said. It is unclear if the head wound was a result of the knife or if the teen got it during the scuffle.

He was rushed to King’s County Hospital and listed in stable condition.
