A teen was left clinging to life — with bleeding to his brain — after a brutal Bronx robbery, cops said.

Two muggers approached the 19-year-old victim around 6:50 p.m. Jan. 20 at Matthews Avenue and Burke Avenue in Williamsbridge, placed him in a chokehold and slammed him to the ground, rendering him unconscious, police said Monday night.

But that wasn’t enough for the ruthless attackers, who punched and kicked the helpless victim in the head while he lay on the ground — and then grabbed his cellphone and an undetermined amount of money before taking off.

The teen was taken to a local hospital in critical condition with facial fractures, lacerations to his head and pain and bruising, cops said.

One of the suspects was last seen wearing a blue coat with a fur-lined hood, black jeans and black and white sneakers. The other wore a black coat with a fur-lined hood, a dark hooded sweater, gray pants and black and white sneakers.
