A teen was shot to death at a birthday party in Brooklyn yesterday — all over some disc-jockey equipment, police sources said.

Darius Robinson, 17, was at a friend’s cookout on St. Marks Avenue near Nostrand Avenue in Crown Heights at 1:20 a.m. when a gunman accused someone in the crowd of stealing his DJ gear and then squeezed off six shots, hitting Robinson in the torso, the sources said.

“People were shouting, ‘He’s dead! He’s dead! They shot him,’ ” said a 29-year-old witness, who would give only her first name, Patricia.

Robinson was pronounced dead at Interfaith Medical Center.

His heartbroken dad, Fred Robinson, said, “My son was the sweetest young man, an intelligent individual. He was a fun-loving kid. Got along with everyone. That is why this is such a shock.”

Law-enforcement sources said the victim had several arrests on his record, including for criminal possession of stolen property.

No arrests had been made in his murder by late last night.
