A Brooklyn teen who claims he was mauled by a dog wants to take an $11 million bite out of the hulking Mastiff’s owners.
Fortunato Tinalli has filed a lawsuit against the Bergen Beach couple who owned Diesel, a 150-pound pooch who allegedly clamped his jaws around the teen’s left foot, breaking it.
Tinalli was walking down Avenue U when the dog, tied up outside a store, lunged at him, court papers claim.
The teen needed surgery after the Dec. 4, 2012, attack, and continues to suffer swelling, pain and post-traumatic stress disorder, he claims in the Brooklyn Supreme Court filing.
Diesel had a history of “vicious and violent propensities,” the papers allege.
But Diesel’s owners, Malvina Godish and Kirill Kogos, said the dog was never aggressive to people — and don’t believe his claims of permanent injuries.
“The kid is absolutely fine,” Kogos sniffed.
