A teenage boy was struck and killed by a Metro North train this afternoon.

The boy was at or near the Philipse Manor station in the village of Sleepy Hollow at 1:30 p.m. when the southbound train hit him, killing him on the spot, said MTA officials.

It was still unclear how the boy got in front of the train, officials said.

Hudson Line trains were delayed about half an hour as cops investigated the scene.
