A 16-year-old girl died of a gunshot wound in her face in the Bronx Thursday night, police said.

About 6:15 p.m., cops found the unidentified girl in a fourth-floor apartment on East 171st Street in Mount Eden, where she was visiting from Brooklyn. Paramedics responded and declared her deceased, according to authorities.

It is not clear whether someone shot the girl or she shot herself, police said.

There have been no arrests and there are currently no suspects. The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
