A 16-year old girl was fatally shot in her Brooklyn apartment Tuesday, cops said.

Shemel Mercurius was shot multiple times in her East Flatbush home at about 6 p.m. by a gunman who fled, according to police and witnesses.

“Three shots she got,” said the girl’s aunt, Latoya Price. “That’s my niece, my niece who was shot.”

The teen died at Kings County Hospital.

A neighbor said he heard shots from the floor below and the gunman fled down the stairs.

Cops were searching for the killer Tuesday night.
