Two teenage boys were stabbed early Thursday in an argument with a third youngster aboard a train in the Times Square subway station, police said.
A 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the hand and a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the abdomen during the altercation, which unfolded just before 7 a.m. on the NQR train line, police said.
Police took a 14-year-old boy into custody, law-enforcement sources said.
The victims knew the suspect before the incident and were arguing over spending on a Visa credit card, according to the sources.
The two teens were taken to Bellevue Hospital and are in stable condition, police said.
Police described the suspect as a male with a dark complexion and black hair.
He had a cast on his hand and was wearing all black and glasses at the time of the attack, police and sources said.
The police investigation is ongoing.
