Two students at a Upper West Side high school were taken into police custody after they called in a bomb threat, causing officials to evacuate the the building, authorities said.
The two students, both 15-year-old boys, placed a phone call to the main office of the Success Academy Charter School on West 84th Street around 11 a.m. and said that there was a bomb in the building, cops said.
Administrators decided to evacuate the building, which houses several charter schools, before allowing students back inside a short time later.
The two boys were apprehended and taken down to the 20th Precinct for questioning. Charges are pending.
