These kids are hell on wheels.
Three heartless teens swiped a 70-year-old Bronx grandma’s motorized wheelchair for a low-speed joy ride, police said Friday.
Virginia Velez left her chair outside a Shakespeare Avenue salon while she was getting her hair done on Jan. 14, and came out to find it gone.
“Everybody was helping me look for [the chair],” Velez told The Post. “The cops took me around, but no luck.”
Police sources said surveillance cameras on nearby storefronts captured the trio making their snail’s-pace getaway, one still seated in the chair.
“I don’t know what I would have done if I caught those kids,” said Velez’s son, Sorrell Rodriguez. “My mother needs that chair to get around.”
The creeps — and the wheelchair — never surfaced, sources said.
After the theft, Velez made do with a rickety replacement scooter, but recently saw her luck turn around when a good Samaritan donated a brand-new chair.
“I love it,” Velez gushed. “It’s perfect for the steep hill outside [my apartment]. I’m blessed.”
