Expect a baking Big Apple next week as temperatures spike up, possibly to a sweltering 98 on Monday.
“If we reach 95 Monday that would tie the record in Central Park,” said AccuWeather Meteorologist Dan Pydynowski, who added that it will feel “more humid as well.”
Temps will start heating up Sunday, with highs inching above 90, with a low of 70, before peaking Monday, according to AccuWeather.
Tuesday is forecast to be another hot day before a late thunderstorm ushers in cooler temps.
