Ten people were injured when a massive three-alarm fire ripped through a Brooklyn apartment building Monday, officials said.
The flames erupted around 4:30 a.m. inside of a building on 49th Street near 11th Avenue in Borough Park.
The fire consumed multiple floors, injuring a total of 10 residents.
Nine of the victims were said to have minor injuries, mainly from smoke inhalation.
One person was said to have suffered more serious injuries and was being treated at an area hospital.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
