A bomb scare at Kennedy Airport this afternoon forced almost 300 passengers to be evacuated, authorities said.

The terminal was reopened this evening.

A woman called Terminal 1 shortly after 5:30 p.m. to there was a bomb inside the building, a Port Authority spokesman said.

Moments earlier, an unidentified bag was found inside the terminal.

Authorities are currently searching with bomb-sniffing dogs.
